Can you wash a picnic blanket?

Important to always check the washing instructions on the product. The picnic blankets we sell can be washed at a maximum of 30 degrees. Washing woolen picnic blankets is often not necessary. Wool cleans itself. Allow dirt to dry and then tap out. That is why woolen picnic blankets have been in so much use since grandmother's time.

Are picnic blankets waterproof?

Nowadays, most picnic blankets have a waterproof layer of plastic. This makes them waterproof and your picnic blanket will remain beautiful for even longer. Enjoy a long picnic or for the children to play on for extra time.

How big is or should a picnic blanket be?

A bit depending on the activity. To take with you on a walk that you can sit on for a while, a Walker (tip: type Walker in the search bar to easily find it) with dimensions of 66x98 cm is ideal. If you are going to a picnic with friends and/or children, we recommend a large picnic blanket of 145x183 cm.

Where can you buy a picnic blanket?

There are many different places where you can buy a picnic blanket. It is important that you consider what you want to use a picnic blanket for. If you are looking for a beach blanket, choose, for example, a picnic blanket made of recycled material. These are thinner than new wool plaid and retain less sand. For a festival you want a simple and easy to carry plaid, then a fleece plaid is a nice option. A real picnic in the park or garden naturally requires a large plaid made of new wool.
