Who it's for, when and why

Black Stewart is the bold, dark variant of the famous Stewart tartan. The deep black with fine red, green and white lines makes this scarf stylish and easy to combine with a dark winter coat or a tweed jacket.

The scarf is woven from 100% merino lambswool at Abraham Moon & Sons, one of Britain's last vertical woollen mills. Merino feels soft against the skin, doesn't itch and keeps you warm without being heavy. A stylish gift for yourself or someone else – for an autumn walk, a cold winter day or simply every day.

Care & washing instructions

Wool is a natural product and largely cleans itself: the fibre structure releases dirt and odours on its own. So wash as little as possible — fresh air often works wonders. A stain? Gently dab with cold water. If a wash is really needed, choose a low-temperature wool programme with a dedicated wool detergent (not regular detergent, which damages the fibres). Do not tumble dry — dry flat and gently reshape.
