"Which type of wool should I choose?" We often get this question, so here is a concise explanation of the pros and cons of each wool type.

To start with some general characteristics of wool:

• All wool blankets are very durableNot only are they long lasting, but wool itself is a natural, renewable material.
• Colourfast. Wool is a material that retains color well, preventing it from fading.
• Wool is timeless. We often hear: "Oh, we used to have a blanket like that at home." But of course  are there  In addition to the traditional patterns, more and more new designs can be found.

Characteristic is a high density (feels a bit like felt), at first it feels a bit stiffer but that quickly disappears and then the blanket feels soft.
• Lambswool (Shetland & Merino): these blankets are often more expensive, but in return you get an extra thin blanket that  feels wonderfully soft.
