Millionaire's Shortbread Chocolate - with gooey caramel center!

In honour of Scotland’s most luxurious shortbread treat – Millionaire’s Shortbread – we’ve tried to capture this delicious Scottish delicacy in chocolate form. It seems to have originated in Scotland as a more decadent version of shortbread. Almost every tearoom in Scotland stocks this delicious treat.

Three layers of delight...
For the base, we’ve sprinkled chunks of shortbread biscuit in white chocolate. This is followed by a gooey caramel layer (applied by the steady hands of our quirky chocolatiers). We’ve then topped the bar with smooth milk chocolate to give you a delicious looking and tasting three-layered Millionaire’s Shortbread Chocolate Bar. Warning: this bar – like a square of Millionaire’s Chocolate – is almost impossible not to eat in one go.

Ingredients:
Sugar, cocoa butter, whole MILK powder, cocoa mass, emulsifier: SOYA lecithin (E322), natural vanilla flavouring. Caramel filling: glucose syrup, sweetened condensed MILK, vegetable fat (coconut); emulsifier. Shortbread crumble: WHEAT flour (gluten) (WHEAT flour (contains calcium carbonate, iron, nicotinamide, thiamine), butter 32% (MILK), sugar, cornflour, cocoa butter. White chocolate cocoa solids: cocoa solids 28% min, MILK solids 21% Min MILK chocolate Cocoa Solids 33% Min, MILK Solids 20% Min.

Shelf life: Can be kept for at least 2 months after purchase, but this bar is often gone after a few days ;-)
