About the maker
Started on a croft on Skye
James Robertson founded Isle of Skye Candle Company in 2006, aged 19, on his family's croft on the east side of Skye. He worked in a soap shop and noticed that almost all candles in the UK were made of paraffin.
So he developed natural wax blends himself. Those recipes have not changed since; the scents are inspired by the landscape around the workshop.
